How to use Patterns
What are patterns?
Patterns are pre-designed page templates you can use to structure your Campaign pages. They give you a strong starting point for different types of content and help ensure pages look consistent, accessible and easy to navigate.
Each Pattern includes a recommended layout and a set of components already in place. All Patterns are fully editable — you can change, remove or add components to suit your campaign needs.
You can also choose to start from a blank page at any time. To do this, select Choose a Pattern, or press the ‘X’ in the top right corner of the selection window to begin with an empty page.
If you don’t want to use a full Pattern, you can also add individual components from any Pattern and build your page section by section.
Types of Patterns you can choose
Home Page
Use this pattern when you want to introduce users to the main purpose of your campaign.
This template includes space for elements such as:
- a hero section or video explainer
- large breakout sections to highlight key messages
- navigation blocks to direct users to Topic Pages or core content
This layout helps you guide users clearly from the start of their journey.
Content Page with Banner
Ideal for campaigns that include longer content or several related topics.
This template allows you to:
- break information into clear, structured sections
- use a banner area to set context or introduce the topic
support deeper reading while keeping things easy to follow
Topic Landing Page
Best when your campaign includes multiple themes or topic areas and you want users to explore related content from a single place.
This pattern helps you:
- group pages and resources by theme
- guide users to the right topic through visual navigation blocks
- give an overview of the content available
Content Page
A simple, clean layout for campaigns with a single, focused message.
This pattern works well when you want to:
- present information in a straightforward way
- avoid distractions or unnecessary design elements
- keep the content clear, short and accessible
Add a Pattern to your page
To add a Pattern:
- In the left sidebar, click Pages.
- Click Add New or open an existing draft.
- A Pattern selection window will appear.
- Choose the Pattern you want to start with — or press ‘X’ to begin with a blank page.
- After selecting, the template will load with pre-populated components.
- Click any component to edit the text, images or layout.
- Add or remove components as needed by clicking the ‘+’ sign in the left corner of a new page and select ‘patterns’ and then ‘components’.
- Click Update, Publish, or Save Draft to save your changes.
