How to use components (blocks)
When you add content to your site it’s presented on the screen using components called blocks. See an example of how components (blocks) can be used on a page.
Text blocks
Text blocks are used to add written content to your page, for example:
- use a List block to add bullet or numbered lists to your content
- use a Details block to add extra or optional information for your users
- use a Heading block to add titles to your content
- use a Paragraph block to add text to a page
- use a Quote block to highlight a quote to your users
Media blocks
Media are used to add visual content to your page, for example:
- use an Image block to add images to a page
- use an Image Card block to connect a title, text and decorative image
- use a Media & Text block to add text next to an image on a page
- use a Video and embed blocks to add video to your page
- use a Social Media block to add links to social media platforms
Design blocks
Design blocks are used to create visual elements and structure on your page, for example:
- use a Button block to highlight a link for your users
- use a Column block to space out content horizontally on a page
- use a Hero block to make an impact for users arriving on your home page
- use a Highlights block to highlight important information
- use a Group block as a visual container for other blocks
- use a Table block to put information in a tabular form
